An unusual view of Bath Theatre Royal taken during the construction of a new Fly Tower on the early 80s.

Another old picture of Bath, this time the Old Bridge, it was demolished in the 60s.
All the building behind it have gone now, and the one behind the cross on the right (the old SWEB building) in to be demolished to build a new bus station.
Note for regular reader Jacqui
The picture of Joe cutting my hair is about 4 years old, and I'm 61 now.
He started cutting my hair as a trainee in the hairdressers opposite the General Post Office when I was about 20, so Joe has kept pretty well for his extreme old age.

We said goodbye to Wendy's old Toyota on Saturday, It was costing over £1.50 a mile plus petrol to run.
She sold it to a young Australian called Lachan who is working at a local boarding school for the year.
So if you see a Toyota D586 OYD with a big dent in the back passenger door around, it hasn't been stolen.

Green Park Station
Green Park Station Bath, now a Sainsburys car park, I went to Green Park School so the station was a magnet for schoolboys.
I can just remember when I was 4 being taken to the window of our old flat in Oldfield Park to watch the Circus train unloading in the sidings.
In those days the train was the cheapest and most efficient was to move a circus
And Billy Smarts Circus had its own train in the 50s, How thing have changed.

Ken Russell shoots Savage Messiah
Ken Russell shooting his 1972 film Savage Messiah just outside my old front window in Abbey Churchyard.
He turned Shores shoe shop (now Binks Restaurant) into an art gallery, Dorothy Tutin who played Sophie Brzeska is on the left.
In February 2005 I had the privilege to meet and photograph Ken; let's just say he lived up to my expectations!

Trip to the dentist Mike Wortelhock
I had a trip to the dentist today, just a check up and visit to the hygienist.
Thought it would be a good idea to do some self-portraits, so here are the snaps taken with a 12mm Nikkor on a Nikon D2Hs.
The Dentist is Mike Wortelhock, and Jane West is the hygienist at Lyndhurst dental practice in Oldfield Park, Bath.
